Study in Canada

Cameroon students interested in furthering their education in Canada are required to demonstrate English proficiency (IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 69 points for undergraduates and IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 79 points for post graduate) for Institutions in the Anglophone states or French Proficiency Test for Institutions in the Francophone states and academic preparedness, in order to gain admission for the degree they seek to obtain.

 

• For academic preparedness, students MUSTpresent proof of completion of the previous level of education (GCE A/L,Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)
• For French proficiency, students MUST score a Pass Mark for all programmes.

Term start dates

Schools in Canada have intake in January, February, May, September and November with January and September being the main entries

Study in Québec

Students can study in Quebeceither in English or in French

  1. Students studying in Quebec for a 1800 hour (at least 1.5years) program and holding B2 French qualify without work experience
  2. The students can apply under a process called PEQ (Quebec Experience Program)
  3. Applications receive a priority treatment of 20 days or less
  4. Become a Canadian PR under 6 months
  5. Some programs in Quebec do not need a language proficiency test

Canada admission periods;

The Canadian Education System has entries in January, May and September with main entries being January and September.
